Refund Policy

1. Overview
At Metrolo, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you're not happy with our service, we offer refunds under the terms described below. This policy applies to all plans purchased through our platform, whether paid via Stripe or Paddle.
2. Free Trial
All monthly subscription plans include a 14-day free trial. During the trial period, you have full access to your plan's features. You will not be charged until the trial period ends. You may cancel at any time during the trial at no cost.
We strongly recommend taking advantage of the free trial to evaluate whether Metrolo is right for you before committing to a paid plan.
3. Monthly Subscription Refunds
For monthly subscription plans (Starter, Growth, and Agency):
- Within 14 days of your first payment: You may request a full refund of your first monthly charge if the service does not meet your expectations.
- After 14 days: Refunds are not available for the current billing period. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and your access will continue until the end of your current billing period.
- Subsequent billing cycles: Charges for subsequent months are non-refundable. If you no longer wish to use the service, please cancel before your next billing date.
4. Lifetime Plan Refunds
For the Lifetime plan (one-time payment):
- Within 30 days of purchase: You may request a full refund if the service does not meet your needs. We offer an extended refund window for Lifetime purchases given the larger upfront investment.
- After 30 days: Lifetime plan purchases are non-refundable. The Lifetime plan grants permanent access to the platform and all included features.
5. Plan Changes & Proration
When upgrading or downgrading between monthly plans:
- Upgrades: The price difference is prorated and charged immediately for the remainder of your billing period.
- Downgrades: The price difference is credited to your account and applied to future charges.
- Switching to Lifetime: If you have an active monthly subscription and purchase the Lifetime plan, your existing subscription will be canceled automatically. Refunds for the remaining time on your monthly subscription are handled on a case-by-case basis.
6. How to Request a Refund

Please include the email address associated with your account and a brief description of the reason for your refund request. We aim to process all refund requests within 3-5 business days.
7. Refund Processing
Once approved, refunds will be processed through the original payment method:
- Credit/debit cards: Refunds typically appear within 5-10 business days, depending on your bank.
- PayPal: Refunds typically appear within 3-5 business days.
- Other payment methods: Processing times vary by provider.
8. Exceptions
Refunds may be denied in the following circumstances:
- Repeated refund requests indicating abuse of our refund policy
- Accounts that have been suspended or terminated due to violation of our Terms of Service
- Chargebacks or disputes filed with your payment provider before contacting us directly
9. Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time from the Billing page in your dashboard. Upon cancellation:
- Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period
- You will not be charged for subsequent billing periods
- Your data is retained for 30 days after cancellation, after which it may be permanently deleted
10. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to update this refund policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
