Event ticketing that works at the door
Most member platforms stop at "are you coming?". A reunion dinner needs ticket types, guests, dietary requirements, a payment that reconciles, and a steward at the door with a phone. Metrolo covers the whole arc.
Ticket types, capacity and guests
Standard, member rate, student rate, alumni-plus-one — each with its own price and its own capacity, sold until it runs out. A member can bring guests without those guests needing an account, and each guest can be asked the questions that matter for them rather than for the booker.
Questions that belong to the event
Dietary requirements, accessibility needs, table preference, which workshop, whether they are staying for the tour. Custom registration questions are defined per event, so your signup form never becomes a superset of every question every event ever asked. Validation errors point at the exact attendee and field that failed and scroll it into view, rather than saying "please check the form".
Payment that reconciles
Paid tickets run through the same payment machinery as dues and donations, including the offline path most organisations still need — instructions, a reference number, an optional cheque image, and a pending state that is honest about not being confirmed yet. Your admin views show gross and net side by side, so the ledger matches the bank.
The door, and the day before
Every ticket carries a QR code. A steward scans it and check-in is recorded — scan it twice and nothing breaks, because the operation is idempotent by design rather than by luck. Twenty-four hours out, everyone holding a ticket is reminded automatically.
Public pages that search engines can read
Each live event gets a public page on your own domain with proper metadata, so it can be shared, indexed and linked from a newsletter. It carries your chrome, not ours.
Events & ticketing — questions
If yours is not here, ask on a call. We answer specifics.
Can we run free events too?
Yes. A ticket type priced at zero skips payment entirely and still produces a registration, a QR code and a reminder.
What if someone loses their QR code?
A steward can find them by name in the attendee list and check them in manually. The audit trail records that it was done by hand.
Can non-members buy tickets?
Yes, guest registration exists precisely for that — a prospective member or a partner can register without an account.
Do you send invoices?
Every transaction produces invoice data today. Rendering it as a PDF document is on the roadmap; we say so rather than implying otherwise.

Bring the awkward case — the exception your constitution requires, the thing your current system cannot do. That is the useful half of a demo.
